Sheetmetal Mechanic
Has 6 or more years of experience, is able to read project plans and perform layout,
ensure sheetmetal helpers are installing work properly, connect equipment to
ductwork, run small crews under a project superintendent or the general sheetmetal
superintendent with limited supervision. These individuals should be organized,
honest, consistent and reliable. Preferred computer skills include Excel, Word, and
the ability to learn BMC smartphone-based job tracking app.
Sheetmetal Helper
Has 3-5 years of experience, is able to run and install ductwork to specifics laid out
by mechanic, is able to fabricate some angles on site, is able to read most project
plans, has hand tools such as snips and drill, requires supervision but can be trusted
to complete tasks without being supervised after receiving specific directions. These
individuals should be hard workers, consistent and reliable.
Assistant Project Manager, BIM Modeler
This employee will be expected to prepare submittals, shop & coordination drawings,
close-out documents, acquire material quotes, assist on estimates, maintain change
order and RFI logs, and gather information for and assist project managers and
superintendents as required. Preferred qualifications include recent graduate of 4
year Building Science, Project Management or Construction-related program, co-op,
project management, engineering, &/or on-site construction experience. This
candidate should have people skills, be highly organized, a self-starter, honest,
methodical, diligent, consistent, reliable, and be willing to do whatever is asked with
no reminders. Should be proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD, BIM
software (Revit, 3D CAD, Clash-detection software, etc.).
